Gotta love some creative time with these fluid inks. It is fascinating to watch the move and transform and to see what the end result will be. #vlorimerart
Hope you can join me this Sunday from 2-4PM for my Imagination Exhibit opening at the DuPage Art League (218 W. Front St., Wheaton). I’m so excited to present this collection of work. If you can’t make the opening, the exhibit will be up through March. #vlorimerart
“Divine Creative Spark” is on exhibit at Naperville Art League through next week. That creative spark can be an elusive thing from time to time, but I think that moment of magic is captured with this explosion of color. #vlorimerar
I love experimenting with new media! Playing with alcohol inks has been great fun and a wonderful learning experience. I’m mesmerized by the way the colors blend together and the textures that are formed. This new piece is called Emerging Oceans. #vlorimerart
Happy new year! I usually enjoy a more laid back January but this year I’m gearing up for two solo exhibits in the first few months of the year. Here’s my first new piece of 2018: Under Cover of Snow. It’s on exhibit at the DuPage Art League this month and received a Special Merit Award. Stop by and see it if you’re in the area. #vlorimerart

Featuring a great selection of gifts in all price ranges. Hope you’ll stop by and join us on this festive, fun day of great art and commaraderie.
As an artist, you try not to fall in love with every piece you make. Sometimes, it’s hard not to do just that.
For me, I fell in love with this piece, Cathedral. Some pieces that I work on I have to plan out, but this piece really grew organically. I love the motion and soft, subtle colors playing against each other.
